Pausing your dog at the top of the stairs

This is a quick demo showing how convenient it can be to have a dog who will wait on cue at the top of the stairs while you descend first, and waits until you release him to join you.  This is an easy application of the component behaviors of "wait", "release" and "touch (hand targeting)".

You don't want a dog who moves down a set of stairs faster than you do-- it can cause you to lose your balance, accidentally pull on the dog's neck, etc.
